Very spicy with cinnamon, crisp mint and fennel. BLEND: A blend of straight rye whiskeys ranging in age from 4 to 7 years. The blend of older stock, own-make High West Rye Whiskey plus the youth of their sourced products makes for a complex blend. This latest release of Rendezvous Rye will be available beginning Monday, May 3. Finish: light lingering notes of cinnamon and ginger. At $70 I feel this whiskey is priced about where I'd expect it to be, however, I would love to experience it at or over 100 proof. My only question is how they used a 16 year old Rye in the blend when High West has only been around for 14 or so years.
