We had to drop off of this ridge and work our way through some cliff bands, steep grass and flower filled slopes to get to the lake. Depending on the time of year there may be snow in the passes. We had to carry our lives on our back for 3 days and hike in 22 long miles to get there. A 3 hour round trip along gravel roads isn't ideal, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
